ATTENTION! CHANGE OF DATE!

February 27th Taras Shevchenko Bicentennial Commemoration at the United Nations Postponed.

Due to the uncertainty of the situation in Ukraine, the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the UN made the decision to postpone the Shevchenko bicentennial event scheduled for 27 February 2014. The event is to be rescheduled for a date in late March 2014.

The Ukrainian Mission will issue a formal statement of postponement later today; and will send a notice of the postponement by email on Monday, February 24th, to all those who have sent an RSVP/pre-registered for the event. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.

Кілька днів тому у зв’язку з непевною ситуацією в Україні, Постійна місія України при ООН прийняла рішення відкласти відзначення двохсотріччя з дня народження Т.Г. Шевченка з 27 лютого на кінець березня.

Місія України при ООН подасть формальну заяву про відкладення заходу до кінця дня, та надішле повідомлення на електронну пошту усім, хто зареєстрував свою присутність.
